>Although this is not the Vin Diesel character, this dog seems to share some of the same characteristics: tough on the outside, soft on the inside. When I met this sweet guy he was very willing to pose for his portrait, although far more interested in being petted and enjoying some rare personal attention.  Riddick is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and came to Homeless Pets Foundation due to his owner falling on hard times.  Unfortunately, when the owner lost his home he also lost the ability to care for his pet. Being a large, strong dog and somewhat an ‘alpha’ personality, Riddick needs a new owner with some previous dog-ownership experience, and definitely needs to be the only pet in the home.  But he definitely adores people and has a lot of love to give.

To find out more about Riddick or other available dogs please you can reach Homeless Pets Foundation at 770-971-0100.

Homeless Pets Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by Dr. Michael Good, an Atlanta veterinarian who saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.

Since late in 2002 they have placed nearly 10,000 animals in loving homes. The Homeless Pets Foundation is currently split into three different entities – The Homeless Pets Foundation, Homeless Pet Clubs, and Homeless Pets Transport.
